|Description:||The Human Resources department has an immediate opening for an HR Assistant. |
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the HR department.
Full-time, Monday- Friday.
|Duties:||Responsibilities include, but not limited to:|
Administration of employee benefit programs (FSA, medical, dental, disability, 401(k), COBRA, etc.).
- Maintain compliance with federal and
state regulations regarding benefits
administration to include: ERISA, COBRA,
FMLA, Section 125, and others as
- Maintain detailed knowledge of HCU's
benefit plans and processes necessary to
administer those plans.
Responsible for all activities related to the administration of payroll for HCU and it's CUSO's, including:
- Process semi-monthly payroll for three
- Prepare payroll taxes and withholdings
- Maintain payroll policies and processes to
ensure the compliance with regulatory and
- Manage payroll year-end close activities
and W-2 production.
Maintain HR databases and employee records.
All reporting functions involving attendance.
Assist with staffing and related activities.
Assist with employee training activities.
Provide excellent internal service to all employees in a timely manner.
All other activities as assigned.
Pro-actively support and advance HCU’s brand platform.
High school or equivalent.
Other related training or education preferred.
At least 2 years related experience with HR and/or payroll.
Strong mathematical skills.
Accurate and attentive to detail.
Excellent communications and public relations abilities.
Strong typing and computer application skills.
Ability to assist and support others.
Proficient in MS Office Programs specifically, Excel, Word and Outlook.
